This site has scans of old cookbooks, some of which go back to 1812 and earlier. http://digital.lib.msu.edu/projects/coo ... _date.html It is American, but you would have to think that British North Americans would have a diet more similar to that of Americans than to British, due to the availability of produce and the kinds of crops that the climate would support. |
