Changing of the Guard - Halifax Nova Scotia

On July 18th 2006, members of the Glengarry Light Infantry Fencibles left Upper Canada to head for the Garrison located at the Citadel in Halifax Nova Scotia for the Changing of the Guard.
Celebrating the 100th anniversary of the transfer of command from British to Canadian forces, the event was attended by groups representing time periods from the Seven Years war to the present day. Groups like the Diehards from England, His Majesty's Royal Newfoundland Regiment of Foot from Newfoundland and The Royal Engineers from British Columbia put on amazing demonstrations, and made the trip a memorable experience.
